Crispus, Caesar, 316-326. Follis (Bronze, 19 mm, 3.56 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 320. CRISPVS NOB CAES Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Crispus to left, seen from behind, holding spear in his right hand and shield with his left. Rev. VOT / XV / FEL / XX / R P in five lines within wreath. RIC 216 var. (unlisted officina). Extremely rare. A lovely coin with a very attractive military bust. Slightly rough and with very minor deposits, otherwise, good very fine.

Only four coins for Crispus are known with this reverse, one from officina S in the KHM, Vienna, and three in private hands, two of which are in the Ramskold Collection.
